Aspen is undoubtedly the place to be in summer!
For the outdoor enthusiast – and regardless of whether you’re a hiker, mountain biker, river rafter, hot air ballooner, rock climber, fly-fishing fanatic, or simply prefer to get your rush from hang gliding – we have it all here. And then there are our world-class restaurants and live music venues and Aspen’s cultural events rival those that any major US city has to offer.
For instance, only yesterday afternoon we were fortunate to see Carole King perform live at a fundraiser at Belly Up, arguably one of the best small live-music venues, bringing us world-class performers year-round.
This was one of those rare, ‘Only in Aspen’ experiences. At 73, Carole King still has the same hauntingly distinctive voice – and her spirit and power continue to make such a difference! Now is the time to mark your calendars because on August 9th, the new 33,000-square-foot, three-story Aspen Art Museum opens to the public.
